…Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northern Franklin,
southern Shawnee, Douglas and Osage Counties through 1000 AM CDT…
At 926 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Dover to near Richland to Eudora. Movement
was south at 50 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include…
Southern Topeka, Lawrence, Ottawa, Baldwin City, Osage City,
Carbondale, Eudora, Richland, Wellsville, Dover, Auburn, Overbrook,
Lyndon, Centropolis, Burlingame, Pomona, Scranton, Clinton, Quenemo
and Lone Star.
This includes the following highways…
Interstate 35 between mile markers 177 and 198.
Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 157 and 178.
