Fred Kenison

Fred LeRoy Kenison, 93, McLouth, died Jan. 17, 2012, at F.W. Huston Senior Living Center, Winchester.

He was born March 10, 1918, at Buffalo, the son of Frank Asberry and Sarah Myrtle Long Kenison.

He taught for approximately eight years at schools in the Buffalo and Chanute area. He also worked as a partsman for a Ford dealership and ran Fred’s Auto Body in Iola for 15 years.

He married Eunice Nadine Anderson Aug. 26, 1942, at Chanute. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include four daughters, Patty Ann Peres, Shoreview, Minn., Judith “Judy” Lynn Dalton, McLouth, Jeanne Baze, Lawrence, and Anita Douglas, Bentonville, Ark.; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.

Burial was Jan. 19 at the Buffalo Cemetery. A Celebration of Life was held Jan. 22 at Barnett Family Funeral Home, Oskaloosa.
