It’s a Dragon thing

Valley Falls sixth-grader Lacey Eisermann gets a congratulatory high-five from a line of 25 elementary teachers and aides during an academic awards assembly at the school Friday morning. Lacey was among the 43 students cited for receiving an “exemplary” on last year’s state assessment tests. Principal Susan Grey recognized each class and its accomplishments that resulted in a building-wide Standard of Excellence in reading and math. The children wore T-shirts that said, “It’s a Dragon Thing.” This year’s testing will get under way later this month.
