A 42-year-old Oskaloosa man was killed in a one-vehicle accident just after midnight Jan. 16.
Marty L. Warriner, 42, was southbound on US-59 highway about 3 miles south of Oskaloosa when his 1999 Dodge pickup left the roadway for an unknown reason.
The Highway Patrol report states Warriner over-corrected causing the pickup to slide sideways into the east ditch and went end over end one time coming to rest on its wheels.
He was not wearing a safety restraint.
