Rita Ann Dickinson, 76, Oskaloosa, formerly of Leavenworth, died Jan. 31, 2012.
She was born April 4, 1935, in Inavale, Neb., the daughter of Raymond and Lillian Hutchinson Slawson.
She married John Roland Dickinson Aug. 16, 1953, in Tonganoxie. He preceded her in death May 7, 2008.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Gary.
Rita was a member of the Jarbalo United Methodist Church, Leavenworth.
Survivors include three sons, John, Jeff and Jay Dickinson, all of Leavenworth; two daughters, Joyce Simmons, Seymour, Mo., and Julie Tribble, Ft. Worth, Texas; three brothers, David, Ed and Lloyd Slawson, all of Tonganoxie; three sisters, Colene Botts, Lawrence, Rachel Hollingsworth, Augusta, and Barbara Say, Emporia; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Feb. 4 at the Jarbalo United Methodist Church. Burial was in Fall Creek Cemetery, Leavenworth.
Memorials can be made to Hickory Pointe Care Center and sent in care of Quisenberry Funeral Home, 604 E 4th Street, Tonganoxie, 66086.
