Fishers can find trout this season in Shawnee County’s Ward-Martin Creek.
The Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism stocked the creek, which is in Auburndale Park, 2400 S.W. Perry, as part of its effort to provide fishing opportunities in high-density population areas.
The KDWPT and the Shawnee County Parks and Recreation will work to keep trout stocked in the creek throughout the season.
