Jefferson County Received Around 7" Countywide

According to trained spotters, COOP observers and myself there was an average of 7 inches of new snowfall in and around Jefferson County. Below is a map from the NWS showing initial snowfall amounts from the January 19th, 2011 snowstorm.

Most areas of the County had 2-3 inches of snow left over from last weeks snowstorm. Total snow depth in some areas are over 11 inches.

Preliminary forecast for this weekend are calling for another couple of inches of snow on Sunday. Check back in with jf-ks.com this weekend for more information.
