   The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

   * Tornado Watch for portions of 
     Extreme northeast Colorado
     Northwest Kansas
     Southwest Nebraska

   * Effective this Thursday night from 625 PM until Midnight CDT.

   * Primary threats include...
     A few tornadoes possible
     Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely
     Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible

   SUMMARY...Clusters of supercells will likely persist through the
   late evening and early overnight hours, as the storm environment
   becomes more favorable for a few tornadoes, in addition to damaging
   winds and large hail.

   The tornado watch area is approximately along and 65 statute miles
   east and west of a line from 70 miles northwest of North Platte NE
   to 20 miles south southeast of Goodland KS. For a complete depiction

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
   tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
   area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
   threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
   and possible warnings.

   surface and aloft to 1.5 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind
