WEDNESDAY MORNING…
The Freeze Watch from Monday evening through Tuesday morning has
been replaced with a Winter Weather Advisory due to the
anticipation of cold temperatures and accumulating snowfall.
* TEMPERATURE…Morning temperatures are expected to fall into the
upper 20s with temperatures remaining below freezing for as
much as 5 to 7 hours.
* IMPACTS…The cold weather could kill sensitive outdoor
vegetation if left unprotected.Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent
freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should
be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have
in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-
ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
A Freeze Watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible.
