The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM to 7 PM CST Wednesday.
* AFFECTED AREA…Fire weather zones 011, 012, 024, 038, 039, and
054.
* WIND…Southwest winds at 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph.
* HUMIDITY…16 to 32 percent.
* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended. Shifting winds will cause
fire control problems.
* IMPACTS…any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
