* WHAT…Snow is forecast to begin late this evening and continue
into Tuesday morning. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches
are expected for areas along and south of Interstate 35. 2 to 5
inches of snow are forecast along and north of Interstate 70.
* WHERE…Central, east central, north central and northeast
Kansas.
* WHEN…From 10 PM this evening to 10 AM CDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions, especially on
bridges and overpasses. The hazardous conditions will impact
the Tuesday morning commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Temperatures are forecast to fall into
the upper 20s and lower 30s Tuesday morning. Tender vegetation
could be damaged if left unprotected.Slow down and use caution while traveling.
