Scattered damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...Strong to severe thunderstorms should focus across central Mississippi through the late afternoon and early evening hours, with severe hail and damaging winds as the main hazards. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 35 statute miles north and south of a line from 130 miles west of Meridian MS to 35 miles north northeast of Meridian MS.
