URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 157 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 155 AM CDT Fri Apr 21 2023 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of South Texas Coastal Waters * Effective this Friday morning from 155 AM until 700 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...A band of organized thunderstorms should continue southeastward toward and offshore from the middle Texas Coast through the pre-dawn hours, offering occasional severe hail and damaging gusts. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50 statute miles either side of a line from 35 miles west northwest of Beeville TX to 30 miles northeast of Palacios TX.
