Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2.5 inches in diameter likely Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...Isolated thunderstorms are expected to intensify across Deep South Texas this afternoon and evening, posing a risk of very large hail and damaging wind gusts. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 70 statute miles east and west of a line from 85 miles north of Mcallen TX to Mcallen TX.
