URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 239 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 225 AM CDT Fri May 26 2023 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of East central New Mexico Western South Plains of Texas * Effective this Friday morning from 225 AM until 700 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Isolated damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...A thunderstorm cluster with embedded supercells will continue to drift slowly south-southeastward early this morning, with a continuing threat for isolated large hail and severe outflow gusts for a few more hours. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 30 statute miles north and south of a line from 65 miles west of Cannon Afb NM to 60 miles east of Cannon Afb NM.
