URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 37 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 455 PM EST Mon Mar 7 2022 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Central and Western Maryland Central Pennsylvania Far Northern Virginia Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia Coastal Waters * Effective this Monday afternoon and evening from 455 PM until 900 PM EST. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...A line of fast-moving showers and isolated thunderstorms will move across the watch area this afternoon and early evening, posing a risk of locally damaging wind gusts. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 70 statute miles east and west of a line from 45 miles north of Williamsport PA to 15 miles south southeast of Martinsburg WV.
