URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 46 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 720 PM CDT Mon Mar 14 2022 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Northwest Louisiana East Texas * Effective this Monday night and Tuesday morning from 720 PM until 200 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...Discrete supercells will pose a threat for mainly isolated large hail, while a developing squall line pushes east from northeast and east-central Texas towards the Sabine Valley with the main threats of damaging winds and a brief tornado or two. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles east and west of a line from 60 miles east northeast of Shreveport LA to 95 miles west southwest of Houston TX.
