URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 47 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 120 PM EDT Wed Mar 16 2022 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Central Florida Coastal Waters * Effective this Wednesday afternoon and evening from 120 PM until 800 PM EDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...Scattered severe thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and early evening and move northeast across the watch area. Isolated very large hail to 2 inches in diameter will be possible, in addition to strong, possibly damaging wind gusts. A tornado or two will also be possible. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45 statute miles east and west of a line from 10 miles north northwest of Daytona Beach FL to 40 miles southeast of Avon Park FL.
