URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 495 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 835 PM EDT Sat Jul 23 2022 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Southwest Lower Michigan * Effective this Saturday night from 835 PM until Midnight EDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...A squall line with embedded bowing segments will cross Lake Michigan and reach southwest Lower Michigan with the threat for occasional damaging outflow gusts of 60-70 mph. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 55 statute miles north and south of a line from 15 miles southwest of Muskegon MI to 35 miles east of Grand Rapids MI.
