Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...Severe thunderstorms will continue to develop initially from western/northern Pennsylvania into southern New York this afternoon, with a moist/unstable air mass and moderately strong winds aloft supporting a few supercells aside from well-organized thunderstorm clusters. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 70 statute miles north and south of a line from 30 miles southwest of Franklin PA to 65 miles northeast of Utica NY.
