URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 56 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 510 PM CST Thu Mar 2 2023 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of South-central and central Texas * Effective this Thursday afternoon and evening from 510 PM until 1000 PM CST. * Primary threats include... Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events to 3 inches in diameter possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...Storms should increase in coverage and intensity through this evening, while posing a threat for large to very large hail and damaging winds.
