URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 111 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 555 PM CDT Sun Apr 2 2023 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Northern Louisiana East and Northeast Texas * Effective this Sunday afternoon and Monday morning from 555 PM until 100 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... A few tornadoes and a couple intense tornadoes possible Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events to 2.5 inches in diameter possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...The environment will continue to become increasingly favorable this evening for supercells, which will pose a risk for large hail and tornadoes, along with damaging winds where storms tend to cluster later this evening. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 80 statute miles east and west of a line from 40 miles north of Shreveport LA to 35 miles east of Lufkin TX.
