The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of 
  Northeast Oklahoma

* Effective this Wednesday night from 640 PM until Midnight CDT.

* Primary threats include...
  A couple tornadoes possible
  Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events
    to 2.5 inches in diameter possible
  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

SUMMARY...A cluster of supercells will likely persist for a few more
hours into parts of northeast Oklahoma. This will include a large
hail risk initially, with the tornado potential likely to increase
through the evening.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 25 statute miles
east and west of a line from 15 miles west northwest of Bartlesville
OK to 65 miles south southwest of Tulsa OK. For a complete depiction

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.

surface and aloft to 2.5 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind
