URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 184 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 500 AM EDT Sun Apr 30 2023 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Florida Peninsula and Keys Coastal Waters * Effective this Sunday morning and afternoon from 500 AM until 200 PM EDT. * Primary threats include... A few tornadoes possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...One or more bands of strong-severe thunderstorms will sweep across most of peninsular FL and the Keys through early afternoon. Tornadoes, damaging to severe thunderstorm gusts and isolated severe hail all are possible. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles either side of a line from 45 miles northwest of St Augustine FL to 25 miles south southeast of Marathon FL.
