URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 35 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 105 AM CST Mon Mar 7 2022 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Eastern Arkansas Missouri Bootheel Northern Mississippi Western Tennessee * Effective this Monday morning from 105 AM until 700 AM CST. * Primary threats include... A couple tornadoes possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...Semi-discrete storms have developed across southern Arkansas, and these storms should continue to develop northeastward overnight across eastern Arkansas toward western Tennessee, where low-level shear/SRH is increasingly strong. Additional bands of storms will continue to impact areas farther north with at least an isolated damaging wind/some tornado risk. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles east and west of a line from 30 miles south southwest of Monticello AR to 35 miles north northeast of Dyersburg TN.
