URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 36 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 150 AM CST Mon Mar 7 2022 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Far Southern Illinois Far Southern Indiana Western/Central Kentucky Southeast Missouri Northern Tennessee * Effective this Monday morning from 150 AM until 700 AM CST. * Primary threats include... A couple tornadoes possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...A nearly continuous line of storms, with embedded bows and rotational segments, will continue to quickly progress east-northeastward across the region overnight. Damaging winds may be the most common concern, but a squall line-related tornado risk will exist as well given the extreme low-level shear/SRH. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles east and west of a line from 45 miles west southwest of Fort Campbell KY to 30 miles northeast of Owensboro KY.
