The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of 
  A small part of southeast Alabama
  Northwestern Florida
  Central and southern Georgia

* Effective this Wednesday morning and afternoon from 615 AM
  until 100 PM EST.

* Primary threats include...
  A couple tornadoes possible
  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
  Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible

SUMMARY...Thunderstorm coverage is expected to increase throughout
the morning, with a few supercells possible. These supercells could
produce damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles
north and south of a line from 50 miles northwest of Tallahassee FL
to 10 miles northeast of Vidalia GA. For a complete depiction of the

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.
