Shawnee County sheriff’s deputies were investigating a shooting Friday evening in which three people were critically injured.
Sheriff Herman Jones said officers responding to a report of a shooting at 6:47 p.m. in the 4300 block of N.E. Meriden Road found three people who had been shot.
Jones said the shooting occurred near the pool area outside a house at 4335 N.E. Meriden.
All three victims were transported to Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center by American Medical Response, Jones said. They were in critical condition as of 8:20 p.m.
