Three separate car accidents in the Topeka area Thursday afternoon resulted in three individuals being taken to local hospitals with minor injuries, authorities said.
Each accident involved a different law enforcement agency taking control as the Topeka Police Department, Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office and the Kansas Highway Patrol all were involved.
The first of the three accidents happened around 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of N.E. 62nd and Meriden, an official with the sheriff’s office said.
