At least three people were sent into the cold early Saturday morning after their apartment building in the Strawberry Hill neighborhood in Kansas City, Kan., caught fire.

The fire at the building in the 200 block of North 6th Street was under control by 7:30 a.m.  It appeared much of the building sustained either fire, smoke or water damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No injuries were reported, though firefighters had to battle the blaze in brutally cold conditions.
