Citing the continuing drought-related decline in the lake elevation at Tuttle Creek Reservoir, officials of the Kansas City district office of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced Friday that water releases from Tuttle would be decreased amid compensating increases in flows from Milford and Perry reservoirs.
The Corps said the adjustments were necessary to meet water needs at Topeka and DeSoto.
