Cullison firefighters and Pratt County Rescue members carry the injured man to a waiting Life Team helicopter that flew him to a Wichita hospital.
A High Plains Cotton Gin employee was flown to a Wichita hospital Thursday morning following an accident at the gin on the east side of Cullison.
Pratt County EMS, Rescue, Cullison Firefighters and Sheriff’s officers were called to the scene at 8:27 a.m. with a report that an employee had fallen into a piece of machinery and his leg was caught, said Pratt County Undersheriff Jimmy White.
It took about an hour for rescue personnel to free the employee. A Life Team helicopter landed in a wheat field just south of the gin and transported the man to a Wichita hospital.
No other information about the accident or the injured man has been released at this time.
