The Shawnee County Commission will meet in a fourth-floor courtroom Monday in anticipation of a large crowd.
During Monday’s meeting, which will take place in Room 409 of the county courthouse, 200 S.E. 7th, the commission will consider a controversial proposal to allow an off-road motorcycle track in Tecumseh Township.
The seven-member Shawnee County Planning Commission on April 9 unanimously recommended approval of the motocross track, which is located on 158.30 acres on the southwest corner of S.E. 37th and Woodring.
