Firefighters battled a house fire for more than an hour early Tuesday before it was finally extinguished, a Shawnee County dispatcher said.
Fire crews were called at 3:15 a.m. to the house fire in the 438 S.E. Gray. The fire was declared out at 4:30 a.m.
The Red Cross was called to the scene to provide assistance to the home’s residents.
