Firefighters battled a house fire in southern Overland Park on Tuesday morning.
Fire crews were called to 143rd and Farley streets about 8:30 a.m. after a vehicle caught fire in the home’s garage.
Everyone in the house safely escaped.
The fire was placed under control just after 9 a.m.
