It’s big, it’s green and it has lots of potential. It’s a 6×6 truck given to Rush County Fire District #4 by the Kansas Forest Service through the Excess property Program. The fire district plans on converting the truck into a tanker/brush truck for use on grass fires in the country.
Representatives from the fire district said additional trucks are available if any other fire districts in the county are interested.
