Tecumseh Township is one vote away from having an off-road motorcycle track.
The Shawnee County Planning Commission late Monday unanimously approved a recommendation to allow as many as five motorized events — and up to 10 outdoor recreational events — a year on property now zoned for rural agricultural use.
The conditional use permit will go before the Shawnee County Commission April 30. If approved, it also would face a review in a year, which could revoke, renew or change the permit.
