Little blue critters will populate the screen when the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library’s Friday Flicks offers a free screening of “The Smurfs” at 2 p.m. in The Edge Teen Room of the library, 1515 S.W. 10th. The 2011 movie rated Pg for some mild rude humor and action blends live action with computer-generated imagery as the Smurfs get lost in New York where they must find a way to get back home before Gargamel (Hank Azaria) catches them. Jonathan Winters voices Papa Smurf; Smurfette’s voice is provided by by Katy Perry.
