The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Freeze Watch,
which is in effect from Monday evening through Tuesday morning. A
Freeze Watch has also been issued from Tuesday evening through
Wednesday morning.
* TEMPERATURE…Lows Tuesday morning are expected to be around 31
degrees. A killing freeze is forecast for Wednesday morning with
readings expected to fall into the middle 20s and temperatures
below freezing for as much as 8 hours.
* IMPACTS…The cold weather could kill sensitive outdoor
vegetation if left unprotected.A Freeze Watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible.
