…A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN JEFFERSON…SOUTHEASTERN SHAWNEE…NORTHWESTERN
DOUGLAS AND NORTHEASTERN OSAGE COUNTIES…
At 1001 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles west of
Lawrence, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include…
Eastern Topeka, Tecumseh, Richland, Perry, Lecompton, Clinton,
Clinton Lake, Berryton and Grantville.
This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 180 and 195.

MAX HAIL SIZE…<.75 IN
WIND THREAT…RADAR INDICATED
MAX WIND GUST…60 MPH
