* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…

Northeastern Shawnee County in east central Kansas…
Northwestern Douglas County in east central Kansas…
Eastern Jackson County in northeastern Kansas…
Eastern Brown County in northeastern Kansas…
* Until 545 PM CST.
* At 453 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles south of White Cloud to 4 miles southeast of
Silver Lake, moving east at 50 mph.
THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR warned area.
HAZARD…80 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.
* Locations impacted include…
Northern Topeka, Holton, Hiawatha, Horton, Valley Falls, Oskaloosa,
Tecumseh, Silver Lake, Perry, McLouth, Meriden, Hoyt, Ozawkie,
Nortonville, Lecompton, Winchester, Mayetta, Everest, Robinson and
Whiting.
This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 349 and 355.
