One person has died in a fire that engulfed a car and seriously damaged a home southwest of Wichita.
The cause of the fire, which occurred Tuesday, is under investigation.
Wichita Battalion Chief Tom Carney says the victim was found in the home’s driveway and was dead from burns when firefighters arrived. The name of the victim hasn’t been released.
Carney says when firefighters arrived the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames that extended to home’s garage.
