Ward-Martin Creek in Auburndale Park will be stocked with trout Thursday morning, according to a news release from Shawnee County Parks and Recreation.
The Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism Community Fisheries Assistance Program will stock the creek in the park, located at 2400 SW Perry, at 11 a.m. Trout will be restocked throughout the season.
The program is designed to provide fishing opportunities in high-density population areas, the release says.
