A 10-foot-long box trailer packed with the camping and cooking gear of a local Boy Scout troop eagerly anticipating the annual Klondike Derby at Lake Perry later this month was discovered missing Monday night.
Troop 13, of the Jayhawk Area Council, now has taken to the news media in hopes that the thieves responsible for the heist return the trailer full of gear.
Or simply that a person recognizes the trailer and reports it as stolen to Topeka police.
