A Jefferson County cattle rancher and small businessman Monday announced his candidacy for a seat in the Kansas House of Representatives.
Jeff Hanson said he is running for a seat in the 47th District “to stand up to Gov. Brownback’s radical policies.” He said in a statement announcing his candidacy that “the few dissenting Republican moderates left in Topeka are powerless to stand up to the Brownback administration.”
