Updated 10/6/13 9:02 PM CST: Freeman Hospital officials now say 31 year old Elizabeth Ryan has died from injuries she suffered in a head-on collision Friday night. The crash occurred on US 160 in Cherokee County. Frank Williams, the driver of the other vehicle died at the scene. A passenger in his car, Fides Williams is no longer a patient at Freeman.
Updated 10/5/13 7:54 PM CST: The identities of the victims in a deadly crash are now known. The Kansas Highway Patrol says only one person is dead after a crash in Cherokee county. Friday night KOAM was told by officials on scene that two people were killed.

At approximately 5:15 p.m., on Highway 160 at milepost 452 or 5 miles west of K7, a 2000 Dodge Durango driven by 31 year old Elizabeth Ryan was traveling westbound and changed lanes to avoid slowing traffic, when it struck a 2006 Toyota Camry Solara, driven by Frank Williams.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene. His two other passengers, a 47 year old female and 49 year old female were transported to Freeman hospital for injuries. The name of the 2nd deceased victim is still being withheld until next of kin is notified.
Ryan, and her 1-year old male passenger were taken to Freeman Hospital.
The investigation is still on going.
