A two-vehicle crash shut down both lanes of K-4 highway Friday afternoon north of Topeka.
Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper Jared Cripe. said highway patrol responded about 3:30 p.m. to the crash, which occurred in the 3500 block of K-4 a few miles south of Meriden in Jefferson County.
A Dodge pickup driving south was in the northbound lane and overcorrected, Cripe said. A northbound semi clipped the bed of the pickup, he said, causing it to land upside down in the middle of the highway.
The semi left the roadway and entered the ditch west of the highway.
