A Vassar woman died Wednesday afternoon after her vehicle collided with a semitrailer in Osage County eight miles west of Pomona, an official with the Kansas Highway Patrol said.
Driving her 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, Mary A. Hart, 72, was leaving Doman General Store around 3:30 p.m. to go westbound on K-268 highway at Pomona Dam Road.
She failed to yield to Robert E. Smock, 42, of Grantville, who was driving the semitrailer eastbound on K-268.
