We are learning that AT&T is experiencing a wide area outage and that calls from AT&T phone are not getting to the Jefferson County 911 Communication Center. Please us a land line phone if you need to contact 911 and have an AT&T cellphone.
As of 11:40 am I am getting reports that service has been restored to most customers. I still have not received official word from AT&T that the problem is resolved.
