Topeka police officers and firefighters will face off Sunday in their annual football game benefit.
The Battle of the Badges will kick off at 1 p.m. at Yager Stadium at Washburn University. Gates open at noon.
A donation made at the gate is requested for admission. All proceeds benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Special Olympics Kansas.
The Topeka High School Drum Line will provide halftime entertainment, and kids’ games, face painting, and a police car and fire truck will be on hand.
